By 1866, William Heap had spent a lifetime working around the World as Chief Bridge Builder to Thomas Brassey. This work had given him a list of contacts all over the World that he used to set up Heap & Partners as an engineering supply company. Today we carry on that tradition.

Manufacturing Heap & Partners are however far more than just a distributor. With research, design and manufacturing, all covered by ISO 9001:2015, we manufacture everything from simple extension spindles, mounting kits, switchboxes, air distribution manifolds, check valves, and hygienic diaphragm valves right up to our own range of high pressure high temperature trunion mounted ball valves. These valves are sold into some of the toughest duties in the Oil & Gas, Sub-sea and Nuclear markets. Our own range of products are sold under the Phase brand. We are simple folk and it amuses us that Phase is an anagram of Heaps. We hope it would have amused Mr Heap too.

Quality Assurance At Heap & Partners we have always prided ourselves on our test facilities and the quality of the work we produce. We became one of the first companies in our industry to gain the old BS 5750 Part II quality approval back in 1982. However the company has not stood still. Today we hold the highest quality approval ISO 9001:2015 Certificate audited and approved by LRQA. We have also gained PED & PER approval for the manufacturer, modification and assembly of valves.

Export Our Export Department has been shipping goods all over the world for more than 150 years. Since 2001 alone, we have supplied equipment to over 85 different countries. Our staff are skilled in ensuring all packing and documentation comply fully with each country’s specific requirements.
